CU Boulder Class Project | Drill Powered Vehicle
JANUARY 2011 - MAY 2011
My team designed and manufactured a vehicle powered by a hand drill. This vehicle won best chassis as well as a timed race through an on-campus course.
This was my first project management and in-depth design experience. In addition to managing the team, I was responsible for the design and manufacturing of the vehicle steering system.
he vehicle had a budget of $250, had to stand less than 3 feet tall, carry a 130 pound driver, and maneuver 10 foot diameter turns.
